House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has taken new steps into investigating US President Joe Biden and his family amid controversies involving corruption.
Recently, Comer has been pushing to hold President Biden, his family and his administration accountable following a series of nationwide scandals thrown against them.
Among the nationwide scandals that Comer is currently building a killer-case against, is the Biden family’s alleged corruption which was revealed by Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop.
In a statement released by Comer during a broad-ranging interview with The Post last week, he claimed that “this is not about Hunter Biden. It’s about Joe Biden.”
Comer also added that he is aiming to “prove Joe benefited financially and prove he made decisions against the best interests of the United States.”
Comer’s brave remarks came as whistleblowers are starting to come forward to the committee’s investigators, exposing all aspects of the Biden family’s financial institutions and enterprises over which the investigators are currently examining, including Biden’s brothers, Jim and Frank’s unexplored activities.
In an exclusive report published by the New York Post, the media outlet revealed that Comer’s initial focus “has been to follow the money trail to see how it connects to the Chinese Communist Party. For that purpose, the committee will subpoena 13 banks, the majority of which have been fully cooperative.”
The report also added that Hunter’s high-priced lawyers have been sending letters to the banks warning them not to hand over information to Congress,” which Comer responded to, claiming that it was “bulls–t. They don’t set the rules, Congress sets the rules.”
The Post also added that “Hunter’s lawyers also have sent warning letters to Hunter’s former business partners, which Comer describes as “intimidating witnesses.”
He also vowed that, unlike previously when Republicans controlled the House, “he will crack down savagely on anyone who lies to Congress,” the report added.
In a report published by CNN, the media outlet revealed that “Comer’s belief that the government may have been involved in the suppression of the story is rooted in the so-called “Twitter files” that Musk made publicly available. Comer added his panel so far has only had access to the files that have been released publicly.”
In the statement he made regarding the said matter, Comer claimed that “Americans deserve answers about this attack on the First Amendment and why Big Tech and the Swamp colluded to censor this information about the Biden family selling access for profit. Accountability is coming.”
